The activation keys reside on a network drive. Use this method if you will typically use RSLogix 500 on more than one computer, for example, if you want to run RSLogix 500 on a desktop computer at some times and a portable computer at others. The activation key resides on a floppy disk (activation disk). To run RSLogix 500 on a different computer, move the activation key back to the Master disk, and then to the hard drive of the new computer.
